Mom & Dad came home early from work on Friday and loaded us up in the car. This was very unusual and the last time we went for a car ride during the week it was to go visit our new sister.
Sure enough, we pulled up in front of the same house and we knew we were going for a visit with our sister.
While we were there, mom started filling out a bunch of paperwork and was talking to Miss Annie about "Sally". Little did we know at the time that this was her gotcha day.
We would like to officially welcome our new sister to the family (since we don't have a choice really). Right now her name is "Sally", which is the name she had while with Miss Annie. Mom & dad aren't sure if this is going to be her name, but for the purposes of writing about her on the blog right now it will be. If any of you have any ideas for names - mom & dad said they are open for suggestions.

Finally home. Sally's first meal in her new home.
She was worn out so she took a nap (she also got to bring home one of the bears that Aunt Punchy sent to the Peanuts gang several weeks ago)
Dinner time for mom - in typical pug fashion, Sally offered to help her eat it.
I begrudgingly let her sleep near me....for a little while anyway.

So, that was Friday night. Mom says that Sally did really well both Friday and Saturday nights. She slept 5 hours each night without having to go out to potty. We are about 50/50 with accidents in the house and potties outside. In Sally's defense it is cold and snowy outside and Brutus and I don't want to go out there either!

Mom & dad got this cool stuffy for us - Sally just loves it.
Going outside this afternoon. That cute pink jacket she has on is from The Pug Posse.
Since she tried to take over the sock monkey bed, mom brought out the Snoopy bed for Sally.
There has also been plenty of playtime. Brutus and I still aren't quite sure how to play with Sally without hurting her, so playtime mainly consists of her running around us and barking.
Being the good big brother that I am, I showed her the toy box (maybe this way she would leave me alone).

That has been our weekend. She is slowly worming her way into our hearts. We hope everyone is having a good weekend out there. We know a bunch of areas got snow, so we hope everyone is staying safe and warm.
