I Did It!!
Ellie here pawing at the keyboard. Yoda & Brutus are sleeping so I thought I would let you know all about my final training class. This was the advanced training class at PetSmart (I love my instructor Craig, he is the best!!)
Anyway, I finally graduated!! It has been a long process (18 weeks in total of training from beginner to intermediate and then finally advanced). I still have some things I need to work on before I can take the CGC test, but I am well on my way. I still have some issues with people - hey, if you don't have a treat I don't want anything to do with you and I will bark like a crazy girl at you.
Here I am doing my sit/stay. Mom was too busy to get any other pictures during the graduation test.
What's that you got there Dad? A diploma for me!! Yay!!! It was alot of hard work, but the treats made it well worth it. Mom says that I have to keep up with my training so that I can be a CGC.
Here is my diploma and class picture - the other two dogs that graduated with me are Buddy & Mandy.

Getting Picked On...
Hewo evwybuddy - Ellie here at the puter again. Does anyone else have brudders that make fun of dem??
Yoda & Brutus keep laughing at me when I came home from da vet yesterday looking like this...
Yoda & Brutus called it da cone of shame.... whatevers... I had to wear it yesterday after going to da vet...
Mom told me that I had surgery so I wouldn't be able to have puppies since there are soooo many puppies and doggies already in the world. She also told me that they were going to shoot a laser in my nose so that I can breathe easier. I don't know what dey did, but my nose is tender and I have been having to sneeze alot.
(**mom's note - she had a Nares surgery where they hit the tissue inside each nostril with a laser to shrink back the tissue. She had tiny little nostrils and had a hard time breathing).
Anyways, mom must have felt bad for me because it wasn't too long before da cone of shame came off.... tank goodness!!! She put my little pink cupcake shirt on so that I couldn't reach and lick at the incision on my belly. Mom said that I am not supposed to run, jump, climb for 14 days - she wants to know if anyone out there has any ideas to keep me from doing all dose tings....
I was so tired... I did this most of the day...

A Wonderful Weekend...
Well, Mom & Dad abandoned us on New Year's eve to go out and celebrate the new year.
We did however get to go with them visiting on Saturday.
Ellie got to go and visit with Auntie Annie, who was the one who raised her. She had a blast and got to play with some other little puggies while we stayed home and napped. One of those pugs was a Rudy the Rooftop Pug - check out his story here. Ellie said that Rudy was adorable and is happy that he is in a warm and loving environment.
After they got home, we got packed up and headed over to see The Pug Posse & Lilo!!!
It was so nice to see old furiends :)

She was a little overwhelmed.
Rosie of the Posse... Hard to believe she barely had any fur when she first came to them. She is such a pretty girl.
I found a spot on the couch where I could see everything.
and then I chilled out on the lap of Lilo's mom.
Ellie was chillin' with the Pug Posse Mom while Pippen stood guard.
Ellie also got some time with Lilo's mom.
No pictures of Brutus at the Posse house - not sure why, he must have been patroling... So here is a picture of Brutus just so he doesn't feel left out.
Wait...What's that Ellie? Oh, yeah.... Ellie went to the vet for her second set of puppy shots last week. She weighed in at 5lbs 12oz and it was a good visit for her, although she really didn't care for the shot and did cry when she got stuck with the needle.
Mom and dad go back to work this week, which sucks. It has been so nice having them around all of the time. Mom says she is working on winning the lotto jackpot, but until that time comes she is stuck working.

What's in a name.....
Hey everyone!! Mom was busy finishing up a project for one of her classes last week so we didn't get to do much blogging. We did stop by and read blogs, but didn't have time to make many comments.
Mom and dad did have time to decide on a name for our new little sister.....
....Ellie!!
She does alot of sleeping - here she is trying to help mom with her project for school. I am there helping too :)
Somehow she ended up on the couch next to me. What's a pug to do but continue napping!

Mom was taking a break from baking cookies this weekend so several of us piled on!!
She makes a halfway decent back warmer...
Mom just loves Ellie's little butt wrinkles.
Brutus says I make a good blanket too.
So mom finished her project and turned it in on Friday. She is now done with classes until the Spring semester starts on 1/10/11.
This weekend mom was busy making Christmas cookies. Can you believe she didn't share any with us!! Don't these all look delicious!!

We are so excited for Christmas this week!! We can't wait for Santa Paws to come - we have been good pugs this year so we are sure we are going to get lots of presents. We hope that all of our furiends get lots of presents too!
