Happiness Amid the Sadness

We are slowly recovering from the loss of Yoda.  Thank you all so much for your support.  It is amazing how the Blog world rallies around those in need.

Despite the heartbreaking loss of Yoda, we need to celebrate a a very special day today.  Brutus' birthday is today and he turned 8 years young today!

Since it has been a rough weekend, we took Brutus & Ellie to PetSmart to help Brutus celebrate his birthday.

Guess who's 9!

Can you believe that I am 9 years old!  Mom still calls me her baby doggy though (it's quite embarrasing).  Mom also says that I am the one who started her pug obsession - in my book that is the best type of obsession to have!!

I thought I would share with you all a picture of me every year from the past 9 years.

A Special Day...

Hi everyone!!  Yoda pawing at the keyboard today.  How I have managed to keep Ellie from the blog is beyond me.  I have a feeling she is planning payback for that picture we posted of her doing her bizness...  oh well, it was worth it :)

I totally spaced out in the last post about what caused my face to puff up.  The vet thinks it was a reaction to the Leptospirosis vaccination.

Anywho, the reason for this post is to wish our kitty sister, Einstein, a very happy birthday!!  Einstein is 10 years old and she has been a part of the family since she was just a wee little one.

Einstein is a cool kitty and doesn't mind us pugs - she will even curl up next to me every now and again.  We even have proof - see the first picture below :)

Our 100th Post and a Birthday too!!

Wow, can't believe we are at 100 posts!  It seems like just yesterday when mom told us that we were going to start blogging.  We have met so many nice dogs and their humans since we started doing this. 

A big thank you to everyone who follows our little blog.  Who knew so many people would be interested in the goings on of two little pugs from Indiana - we sure didn't :)

Today also happens to be Brutus's Birthday - he is six years old today.

I overheard mom and dad saying something about getting extra treats tonight to celebrate Brutus's Birthday...Maybe we will get some Moo Tubes!  Even better is that Mom says she is taking the day off tomorrow and will be home all day - we are hoping it is nice tomorrow so she will take us to the park.
