Last Weekend....Continued

We meant to do this post earlier in the week, but it just didn't work out that way. We had a heart to heart with mom and put our paw down and told her she had to let us blog. She gave in of course - who can resist our cute pugness.

Over Labor Day weekend we had the Pug Meetup on Saturday and then on Sunday we traveled to Fort Wayne to see Grandma & Grandpa (mom's parents). Some of mom's family camped out at Grandma & Grandpa's on Saturday night and were still there when we arrived on Sunday morning. The mosquitos were awful unless you were right by the fire.

Getting tummy rubs from Dad.

With Dad by the fire.

Brutus looks so serious in this photo - for those of you who don't know, mom color coordinates us, Brutus is in the black and I am in the blue.

My human cousins - Zoe, Katie & Anya

Mom's brothers and their families. Lisa, Zoe, Ken, Anya, Katie & Rick

Mom took this cool panoramic photo - that's grandma in the pink.

I found a good spot to chill :)

This is a sculpture that our Uncle Bryan made - It's shaped like a turtle and he made it so it would rust but the letters of our family name wouldn't - can you see the name GRIEZE spelled out?

Me and Grandma - I had to be careful around her since she shattered her left elbow about a month ago and it is still healing.

This is our kitty cousin Calli - she didn't care for us much. We didn't get too close since she still has her front claws.

Grandpa had food! We waited so patiently but he never shared - can you believe it?

See Calli on Grandma's lap - I think she was trying to meld into Grandma's leg so we couldn't see her - didn't work silly kitty.

We were soooo tired on the way home, but it was a great day!

  2. That turtle thing is neato! We didn't get to go camping this year, but hopefully we will next year. Cody's never been camping before and I think Mommy is hesitant because she doesn't know if he'll fit in the 2 person tent with the rest of us. Oh well. Glad you had fun!

P.S. Our Mommy color codes us too.

  4. Glad to see you had some fun after all!! Love the turtle sculpture - plus you don't have to worry about it eating you (unlike the turtle we had here). Hope you did a good job vacuuming at Grandma & Grandpa's!!

  7. Hi guys! It looks like camping is a lot of fun. I think Mom would go for it, but Dad would leave up in the tent and go to a hotel.

That turtle thingy is very cool. Mom has so much turtle stuff that she really doesn't need anymore.

  9. Hehe.. Bajas have had spiked collars since he was a puppy and they're never any problem (the spikes are rounded) so now Mom doesn't even concider it a potential problem. Oh - and we loved the pix!
