A Special Announcement for our Kitty Brothers...

We would like to wish our kitty brothers a very happy birthday today!  Max and Miko are littermates and are turning 10 years old.

We interrupt this Wordless Wednesday for: Weekend Visitor - Part 2....

Eli is a pretty fun pug to be around.  There is one thing in our household that just fascinated him....actually that would be three things...

Mom and dad put up the baby gates so that Eli would not chase the kitties all over the house.  So Eli decided that he would just watch the gates waiting for a kitty to jump over so he could play with them.

The kitties were always to quick for him and he never did catch any of them...we tried to tell him they were too quick, but he was so fascinated he had to try for himself :)

On Sunday Eli joined me, Yoda, in guarding the house from the squirrels and anything and everything else that we thought might be a threat.

Eli got a bit cold so I let him borrow one of our sweatshirts...looks pretty good in it too!

and then some belly scritches from dad...

almost time for Eli to go home so we chilled on the couch.

Brutus was sad to see his new friend go too.

All too soon it was time for Eli to go home...but something tells us he will be back again to play with us soon.

We also would like to wish everyone a Happy St. Patrick's Day - hope everyone is wearing their green :)

Paw it Forward

We got a special package in the mail yesterday.  It was from our friends Tuni & Sequoia (and their mama) for Paw it Forward.  Mom said we had to wait to open the package until after we had supper.  While we were eating, our kitty brother Miko was checking it out.

I think he was jealous (as well he should be).

Einstein tried to help us open it (she probably thought that there was something in there for her, silly kitty)

These wonderful little stockings with our pictures on them are just wonderful (Mom put them on the fridge with some magnetic clips)

I decided to check out the tennis balls too.  I played with them a bit too, but not as obsessed as Brutus was. (Note from Mom - Brutus wanted to play with tennis ball more than get a treat or eat dinner tonight).

We also got some bones, but mom says we will have to wait until this weekend for those so she and Dad can keep an eye on us.  There was also some candy canes in the stash for mom.

We will have a wait a couple of weeks before we do our Paw it Forward.  Mom has a couple of big projects due for school and she wants to concentrate on that first.  She said she has some ideas for our paw it forward so it should be interesting to see what she comes up with - stay tuned.
