It's that time of the year again...

We want to let all of our blogger furiends know that we may not be around much for a while.  Mom goes back to school this week and needs the computer to do her school stuff.  We are going to try and convince her to let us do posts on the weekends, but we can't promise anything.

We will try and visit all of our bloggy friends but don't know that we will be able to comment much.  We don't want anyone to think we were ignoring them, hence this post.  We hope everyone understands and we will be around when mom has the time to help us blog.

Our Weekend....

We are so excited to tell you all about our weekend - Friday in particular.

Well, mom & dad both took Friday off from work and spent the entire day at home with us!!  That was a surprise in itself :)  Later in the afternoon, they got our harnesses out and told us we were going out.  We figured we were going for a nice walk.  After we got all harnessed up, we got loaded up in the truck - we tried to get them to tell us where we were going, but they said it was a surprise.

A short car ride later we pulled up in front of a very familiar house - we were at The Pug Posse house!!  They are so much fun!!

The Pug Posse is currently fostering this sweet little girl - Rosie.  We know she is part pug, but not sure what the other part is.  Mom thinks Rosie is just adorable.

BUT....That wasn't the surprise - guess who we got to meet........KIKI & HER MOM!!!

Here we are checking out Kiki along with Apollo

Helping herself to some chips - she is learning quickly :)

Kiki & The Pug Posse Mom

Having a puppy around can be tiring.

Even Kiki had to take a nap...

Kiki, Brutus & Myself...

Dad's turn with Kiki the puppy.

Kiki was taking a break from chewing on dad's shoe.

Lilo and her mom were there too!

Apollo's mom had her turn holding Kiki.

Hey, take a careful look at the following picture and tell us what is wrong.

Give up - check out Lilo on the far right running over Punchy's head!!

Here we go, this picture is much better

We had a great time and really enjoyed getting to meet Kiki and her mom.

What did you do this weekend?  We would love to hear about it!! :)

Awards from our Blogger Furiends

We haven't been online for a few days.  We have had a very busy weekend - we haven't even had time to read or comment on the blogs!!

1st of all we need to thank our furiends, Corbin, 24 Paws of Love and Roo for giving us this award:

2nd - we need to share 7 things about ourselves.

1.  We both like to sleep in bed with mom & dad.  Brutus sleeps up by their heads and I like to sleep at their feet.

2.  Brutus' favorite toy is his stuffie ball.  Mine is Chicky.

3.  My bestest friend, Barkley, used to live across the street and I really miss him now that he lives in Ohio.  Barkely is a miniature dachsund and the best buddy a guy could have.  I hope that mom will make a trip with me someday soon so I can visit him!

4.  Brutus gets jealous easily.  Especially if another dog is sitting on mom or dad's lap.

5.  Our favorite special treat is our kongs filled with a mixture of peanut butter and banana and frozen for a few hours.

6.  We both wait for mom & dad to get home from work during the week and we give them howl of a greeting.

7.  I like to bark at most anything while Brutus doesn't.  However, if I make a big enough stink about something he is right there with me guarding the house!  **Note from mom - Brutus will also bark when he is out & about in strange surroundings.**

3rd - We need to pass the award onto 15 new blogs that we enjoy.  Boy is this a tough one as there are so many new ones out there that are wonderful.  Here goes...

6.  Pyrite
7.  Pip
8.  Bruschi

We hope everyone has had a great weekend!!

500 Festival of Pugs

We are sooo tired today...  Yesterday we attended the 500 Festival of Pugs!  We had a ton of fun :)  There was so much to see, smell & do!!  This event helps raise money for Kentuckiana Pug Rescue.

On our way...  Ha ha - look at Brutus' snaggletooth :)

Some of the beautiful pugs that our up for adoption from Kentuckiana Pug Rescue.

Eddie of The Pug Posse with his dad.

Mom got these cool new salt & pepper shakers.
Our kitty sister Einstein had to check them out.

Pug Races...  For those of you who have been following KPR's rescue momma Sassy on ustream on the puppy cam.  The pup in the following photos is Stewie :)

Stewie & his dad.

Chilling out...

I was so tired.

What are we looking at?

More pug races!

Look at all the people and their pugs!

This beautiful greyhound was there too.

Lilo getting ready for the costume contest.

Lilo and her mom, she was rockin' her new puppia harness!

Dad had some treats - Here Brutus is demanding requesting some treats from Dad.

I sat politely for my treat.

Mom forgot to get a picture of the foodables table called Pugs in the Kitchen.  Mom designed the logo for Pugs in the Kitchen.  The idea came from The Pug Posse mom & Lilo's mom and our mom ran with the idea and came up with the following.

Mom used Brutus as the model - something about not being able to get a proper picture of me to use to draw from - what a line of hooey, she has a ton of pictures of me.

Anyway, back to what's important.  The treats at Pugs in the Kitchen were all contributed by KPR volunteers that were made by them.  Our mom made some peanut butter biscuits - they were delicious!  Mom bought several bags of treats for us too!

It was a long day, but we had alot of fun seeing our friends and we got to meet many new pugs and their pawrents as well.

On our way home... Brutus in his Fido Rido

I got the rest of the back seat and stretched out.

Hope everyone had a great weekend!!
