Seriously...

Hey y'all, Brutus here.  There have been comments made about how serious I look all the time.  I am a serious fella alot of the time, but wanted to let y'all know that I am a fun lovin' guy too!

I love playin' with balls - especially the tennis balls that we got from Sequoia & Tuni.  I love to put them under the couch and then try to help mama or papa try to retrieve them :)

My favorite toy though has got to be my little stuffie ball.
You can't see the ball in the picture above, but trust me - it's right there, just out of frame.

See my smile :)

...and since I am a nice litte brother, here is a picture of Yoda too :)

Have a great weekend!

Happy Earth Day!

Happy Earth Day everyone!  Why does the earth only get one day?  Shouldn't it be earth day every day?

We have never done alot of recycling in our household, but in the past year mom & dad have been trying to be green.  The one thing they realized is that it would be hard to change their habits, but if they did a little bit at a time, it might be easier.  They started out by doing one thing - recycling old newspapers.  This led to aluminum cans and plastic bags.  Mom & dad also use the reusable shopping bags that most stores now have - it may cost a few dollars initially, but the cost is worth having a clean planet!  Being green doesn't mean just recycling - it also means using products that don't hurt the environment and products that are made from recycled products.

There are so many things that our parents still have to do to make this a totally green household, but by doing a little bit at a time they will eventually get there.

Our friend Stubby's blog has helped mom alot in this process.  Stubby is very wise and knows all about being green.  If you get a chance check out his blog.

Another friend of ours, Puglet, has a wonderful video showing that he recycles.  If a pug can recycle, why not everyone?  Check out his video here - you won't be dissappointed.

We hope everyone is having a good week!  Time for us to take a nap :)

A Sad Day...

We were so sad to hear that our Beefy Sexy friend Penny had crossed the rainbow bridge.

Penny taught us many things - most of all that whipped cream is good.  We loved reading her bloggy and seeing what adventures she was up to.  She will always be in our hearts and whenever we see a Starbucks, we will think of her.  Please keep her mom, Dana, in your thoughts and prayers while she goes through this difficult time.

Mom has promised that the next time we go out, we will stop by Starbucks and get a whipped cream in honor of  Penny.

Penny, you will be missed...

A New Friend

Hey all - please welcome a new blogger, Maggie Pug Girl, the newest Indy Blogger.

We met her last Saturday at pug meetup.

Here she is trying to give a big hug to Apollo - she couldn't keep her paws off him!

Please check out her blog when you get a chance :)

Nothing exciting going on here - Brutus is curled up and snoring away next to mom and I am stretched out next to dad watching TV.

April Pug Meetup

Happy Easter everyone!!  It has been a lovely day here in Central Indiana.  It rained alot yesterday but it did let up in time for us to go to Pug Meetup.

We heard mom and dad talking about it and we didn't think we were going to meetup because of the rain :(  All of a sudden it stopped raining and mom and dad quickly loaded us into the car.  We were soooo excited!!

I checked in with mom to make sure she didn't need me and then it was off to do say hello to all of my puggy friends.

Brutus preferred to stay near dad or on his lap.

Salinger's mom passed out some delicious treats.
