Ellie here pawing at the keyboard. Yoda & Brutus are sleeping so I thought I would let you know all about my final training class. This was the advanced training class at PetSmart (I love my instructor Craig, he is the best!!)
Anyway, I finally graduated!! It has been a long process (18 weeks in total of training from beginner to intermediate and then finally advanced). I still have some things I need to work on before I can take the CGC test, but I am well on my way. I still have some issues with people - hey, if you don't have a treat I don't want anything to do with you and I will bark like a crazy girl at you.
Here I am doing my sit/stay. Mom was too busy to get any other pictures during the graduation test.
What's that you got there Dad? A diploma for me!! Yay!!! It was alot of hard work, but the treats made it well worth it. Mom says that I have to keep up with my training so that I can be a CGC.
Here is my diploma and class picture - the other two dogs that graduated with me are Buddy & Mandy.
I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend!!
You rock, Ellie! Your mom and dad must be so proud. But what are we going to do about those Bears?!?\

Ellie you're so smart! That certificate looks lovely. I hope you do well on your CGC test. I don't know what it is but it sounds important
ReplyDeleteHow cool, Ellie! Congrats on a job well done!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations Ellie
ReplyDeleteBenny & Lily
Good for you! Congratulations! Not to worry, we have the same no-treat-no-hellos theory around here too!!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations! You've been working so hard on your training. Glad to see it paid off. Can't wait to see that CGC when you get it.
ReplyDeleteKeep up the good work.
When are you going to start agility training? You'd love it.
Woohoo! Go Ellie! xoxo
ReplyDeleteawesome!!! way to go!!!!

Congratulations Ellie, well done! I kinda get that whole people and treat issue you have. If they don't have treats they simply are't worth my beautiful puginess. There should be a class to train humans to always bring treats for the pug!
ReplyDeleteWow, congrats on the graduation!
ReplyDeleteMinnie barks at people, too, until she gets a good sniff. Mack just ambles over for scratches!
Drools and licks,
Minnie and Mack
Congratulations! Way to go Ellie! That's an impressive accomplishment!

Paws up to you Ellie! Fabulous accomplishment! You go girl :D
ReplyDeleteWaggin at ya,
Roo
Oh my goodness - Advanced? That is impressive! I did the Beginner class at Petsmart but all I really learned was sit and lay down. I learned Stay and Leave It for awhile but now I ignore those. Clearly that is Mom's fault b/c she's a bad trainer. She thought about going on with the classes but you might have heard that she is lazy and I rule the house. I hope she doesn't read this post about you being so advanced or she will get ideas in her head and start being strict with me and maybe even take me back to class.
ReplyDeleteDarn it Ellie!
Later!
