March in the Pugs!!!

We had a very busy weekend.  We went to March in the Pugs on Saturday to help with KPR.

Mom made some Cinnabone and BBQ dog treats for the KPR dog treat booth along with some other KPR volunteers including Salinger's mom Laura, Lilo's mom Jessica, Pug Posse mom Vikki, and Apollo's mom Jaime.  The treats were mighty tasty too!  All money raised from the treat booth went directly to KPR :)

Will get back to March in the Pugs in a little bit.

We had a visitor this week - Flat Puglet came for a visit!  If you don't know about Flat Puglet, he is a flat version of his real pug counterpart, Puglet, and is traveling the world to help let people know that recycled dogs are just as good as new ones!  Please visit Puglet's blog here and to learn more about the Flat Puglet Project go here.

Puglet went to work with mom one day and helped her with answering the phone for her.

He also helped mom make the dog treats for the KPR event.  He was such a good helper and mom said he didn't even try to take a nibble of any of the treats.

She did give us all samples, and we gave them the pug seal of approval :)

Flat Puglet went with us to March in the Pugs!

Come on mom, let's get going!

On our way...

There was a surprise when we got there - Flat Brutus was there too!!  We couldn't believe it....Of course Flat Puglet and Flat Brutus got along famously and even posed for a photo op :)

We had so much fun at March in the Pugs.  We got to see a bunch of our pug friends and their humans.

We even helped out at the treat table (unfortunately we couldn't help ourselves to the treat table).

Mom & dad bought a Fido Rido too.  They wanted to see how well we would like it before buying two of them.  Brutus rode the whole way home in it, can you believe it - mom and dad were surprised because he usually cries for a good 10 minutes after first getting in the car.

We were both very tired from all of our hard work.

Testing out the Fido Rido at home too (mom thinks Brutus might like it)

We will post more pictures from March in the Pugs later in the week.  Hope everyone had a great weekend!

  4. Hello
    my friends
i am afraid I STILL do not understand.
Does flat pug come to live forever at my house if i asked him to?
yesterday we went to our first pug resue thing and mommies saw a puggie sister for me- but I guess they just could not take a puggie home, so- are flat pugs adoptable or do they just visit?

  9. What a great time! Looks like you puggies really know how to party! So funny to see a little surprise appearance from Flat Brutus (he really gets around, doesn't he?). He looks tiny next to flat puglet - if she had an entire body she'd totally dwarf him!!

    P.S. That was almost a nap-free post!!

  11. Haha poor Lilo doesn't look too impressed about her hulu outfit.

It looks like you guys had a great time and that rido fido thing looks neat! How do you strap the pugs into it? Like a harness?

  14. Hi Yoda & Brutus! It looks like you were great hosts to Flat Puglet. He is such a cool little flat dude, isn't he?

The KPR event looked pawsome. You got to see so many of your friends and raised money for a great cause.

Mom is going to check out the Fido Rido. I usually just sit wherever I want in the car but Mom thinks having me in a container might be the way to go!
