It was a busy around here this weekend. On Saturday our grandpawrents came for a visit along with our uncle - his daughter,Mom's niece, was in the Indiana State Marching Band State Finals and they all went to see her and the band compete (This is the same high school where mom went). They said no dogs were allowed - we tried to tell them we would cheer at the top of our little puggy lungs, but it did not do any good - they said rules are rules. Anyway, the band came in 6th in their class - Yay!!! Mom said all of the bands were good and all deserved to win.
Here is a picture of them at the band competition (it was held at Lucas Oil Stadium where the Colts play).
Mom thinks this picture is hilarious - grandma realized that mom was taking a picture and tried to get out of the way - she failed :)
After the competition they came home and we got to help pass out candy to the trick-or-treaters. There were alot of kids out this Halloween and mom was surprised at how many actually said thank you this year. Hope everyone had a safe and Happy Halloween!
On Sunday we had a very special visitor. We have a new puggy friend named Eli - he doesn't have any puggy friends to play with where he lives, so his mom brought him over to introduce us. We had a ton of fun playing with him - he is a very handsome pug. Mom forgot to get the camera out when we were all playing, but here are a couple of pictures of Eli.
After we played we all settled down to watch the Colts play. We chilled with Dad and watched the game.
Hope everyone had as great a weekend as we did - we got so many belly rubs and butt scritches we were in heaven. Mom hinted that next weekend is going to be blast too - we have pug meetup and then a mini-meetup afterwards - she said something about a visitor coming all the way from Alabama to visit the Indy bloggers - speaking of which, please visit the newest Indy blogger, Tic Tac the Teenage Witch.
Gotta Go, Mom's gotta do some homework - we sure will be glad when she's done with school so she can help us blog more.
Hello Yoda, Hi Brutus like you we were too busy for the weekend. Mom had a very long weekend, lots of things to clean, after the typhoon. Lots of goodies to bake because Mom's relatives visited us and many more. We're glad that we're back to blogging and visit bloggy friends.
