It was a busy weekend. Mom and dad went to a 4th of July festival yesterday. We were pretty bummed when we found out they weren't taking us with them. When they got home we found out it had rained all day (serves 'em right for not taking us with them!). Actually, Brutus and I don't like the rain so we are glad that we didn't get to go - we just lounged around the house all day waiting for mom and dad to get home. They did tell us that they saw Lilo and her family as well as the Pug Posse's family - less the pug posse (glad to know we weren't the only ones that got left at home).
So anyway, mom and dad must have been feeling guilty about leaving us at home yesterday because they took us for a nice long walk.
Hey, wait for meeee!!!
It was a very long walk and I was so tired when we got home that I just laid down and enjoyed the sun. It was nice to see the sun finally come out.
I overheard dad tell mom that they need to take us on more of these walks - That would be wonderful as I really love walks but I'll believe it when I see it.
I know what you mean about the walks. We couldn't have walked the last month anyway, though, as it was raining almost every day. I thought mom was going to start building an ark, for goodness sake.

At least you got to stay home and dry!! Mommy and daddy took me to the festival with them! I didn't know I could get that wet. Didn't think I was ever going to dry out!@!@ I was so tired after all of that, I slet all the way home and didn't talk to mom and dad once. Mom even asked dad to check and make sure I was still alive 'cause I was so silent to them. But I forgave them when we got home and mom gave me more wallymelon =) Happy Monday!!
ReplyDeleteOhhh I used to get long walks before we moved to the new neigborhood. For each habitant there are 100 mosquitoes waiting to attack.
ReplyDeletePoor Coco, we don't like mosquitos - nasty little things. Our house backs up to a wooded area, so sometimes during the summer the mosquitos can get pretty thick in the back yard. Luckily they don't seem to migrate to the street much.
