Hard to believe it has been two weeks since we made the trek to Milwaukee for PugFest!! What I didn't tell you yet is that the Monday after PugFest was my supermodeling debut!! Yes, I am pug #439 for the 1000 Pugs photoshoot!!
We got up bright and early and made our way to the north side of Milwaukee and to Lake Park . We got notice that the photoshoot would be taking place at North Point Lighthouse. Mom was ecstatic about this since she loves lighthouses!!
A couple of pics of Lake Michigan
Mia and her mama :)
The one and only Puglet!! He showed off some of his modeling skills.... He is sooo handsome!!
Kiki, Puglet & Myself
I have to admit that I was a bit starstruck by Puglet...
Just look at him - he had caught sight of his human and was watching her intently.
A picture of the lighthouse from the back.
Tiffy's mom was there too, but mom didn't get any photos with her.
It was finally my turn to show off my super-modeling skills. Now, mom may tell you that I barked non-stop while Miss Amanda was taking pictures of me... I will tell you that I was just trying to tell Miss Amanda how excited I was to be part of this project!!
Miss Amanda taking pics...
The only place I would stay put was right between mom's legs. I know that mom didn't want to be left out, so I made sure that at least her legs would be in the photos...
A big thank you to Miss Amanda and Puglet for making this experience such a great one!!
Alas, my photo-shoot was over way too soon and it was Mia's turn for the photo-shoot.
While we waited, mom and I wandered around and she took photos.
Mom just loves this one she took with the sun behind the lighthouse.
We also took some more time to visit with Puglet
I tried to get him to notice me, but I think I just may be too young for him...
Puglet did seem to like my mama... he sat on her lap for a bit and just chilled.
Look at my excitement about getting to sit with Puglet on mama's lap!
A little bit about the lighthouse.
Mom just loves these two pics of the lighthouse. She wants to have one or both of them framed.

My turn :)
We had a fantastic time and can hardly wait to see the results of my photo-shoot. In the meantime, I will be dreaming about handsome Puglet...
What fantastic pictures, Ellie! I love lighthouses, too, though I've never been to that one (yeah, I know, and I'm only 90 miles away!). You certainly rocked the camera, and how cool that you got to meet Puglet in the fur!
ReplyDeleteawesome! i can't wait to see your picture either! we did our shoot at the beginning of april and i've been trying to forget so i don't check my inbox obsessively. i wonder if anyone has gotten to see theirs yet?
ReplyDeleteWe are so jealous that you got to meet Amanda and Puglet in the furs! Puglet is a big boy compared to you, Ellie.
ReplyDeleteThe photos your Mom took are beautiful. She should see the light house photos!
