50 Years....
We want to wish our Grandpawrents (mom's mom & dad) a Happy 50th Anniversary!!

They had an Anniversary celebration last weekend. We even got to go with mom & dad last weekend up to the grandpawrents house to help them celebrate!!

We didn't get to go to the dinner... but we heard it was pretty good.

Our pal Salinger's mom made the cakes for the occasion.
She did a fantastic job and we even got a little bit of the vanilla cake - it was delicious!!!
They decided to save this cake for the special day :)

We got a lot of fresh country air - the Grandpawrents live out in the middle of the country.

The pawty ended and we headed home. We had a great time and were all very tired.

With Heavy Hearts...
We have to say goodbye to another one of our kitty uncles... :( You will recall that about a month ago, our kitty uncle Buddie went to the rainbow bridge.
This is Spot... he was rescued from a flea market parking lot during an ice storm when he was, at best guess, less than a year old. He went to the bridge today at 17 years old. We are glad that grandma & grandpa could give him such a good life - much better than the one he would have had out on the streets.
I am sure that Buddie was waiting for Spot on the Rainbow Bridge and they are enjoying each other's company as I write this.
Goodbye sweet friend... until we meet again.
