Chillin' with the Pug Posse and a New Friend

Since last week was such a long hard week for us all, we got some new shirts and then we got to go have some fun at the Pug Posse's house.  Our new shirts are nice and toasty warm - PetSmart had them on sale for 50% off! I got camouflage and Brutus got hunter orange.

As usual the Pug Posse was so much fun. They have a new foster pug named Romeo - mom kept gushing over how cute he was. She did reassure us that we were still at the top of the cuteness scale in her eyes :)

We had a very nice evening and we were pretty worn out - we slept all the way home and then went straight to bed when we finally got home.

Yoda's Toofer's

Hey everyone, Yoda here.  I would like to thank everyone for all the well wishes last week.  Can you believe I had to have eleven teeth pulled!  My mouth was sore for a few days, but it feels so much better now.  I got to eat some really yummy canned food last week since I couldn't eat any dry dog food.  Brutus even got a little bit with his food.

Here I am the after my surgery - I spent most of the night in my favorite spot right next to mom.

Mom has been giving Brutus and I our medicine (my antibiotics and Brutus's Benadryl) in marshmallows.  She now thinks that Brutus and I have a marshmallow addiction.  I have to admit it is true - they are so yummy.  I think I would do about anything for some of that fluffy marshmallow goodness :)

Can you believe she teases us like this - give up the marshmallow lady and no one gets hurt.

I am getting back to my normal sassy self.  We even got to go over to the Pug Posse's house on Saturday, but I am getting tired so I will have to save that for a different post.

Petco Sunday and Vet Visit Monday

Brutus here....I will be taking over the blog from Yoda for today.

Yesterday was alot of fun, mom took us to Petco to help raise awareness and to try and drum up some donations for KPR.

Our friend Sophie was there.

Hank was there too.

We met so many nice people.  We were soooo tired afterward, we fell asleep in the car for the short ride home. It was a wonderful way to spend a Sunday afternoon.

Today was a big day for Yoda, which is why I am taking over the blog for the day.  Mom took Yoda to the vet this morning so he could get some teeth pulled and also get them cleaned.  Here he is this morning before going to the vet.  He doesn't look like he suspects anything does he?

After mom & I dropped him off, I didn't know what to do with myself - I paced around the house alot since I was worried about my brother.

We finally got a call from the vet - Yoda had to have 11 teeth pulled....OUCH!!!  Guess I will have to be nice to him for awhile.

Yoda is home now and resting comfortably right next to mom, but here he is earlier this evening.

Something tells me he is going to be getting some extra special treatment the next few days.  I overheard mom tell dad that Yoda can't have any dry food for the next five days, so they got him some of that yummy wet food for him.  I am sure I will get some of it too if I look pathetic enough :)

It's Friday....Finally!

Yoda here.  Nothing too exciting going on this week.  At least it is Friday and the pawrents don't have too much planned for the weekend.  Hopefully we can get in some good cuddle time!

Mom did start back to school this past Monday - she is taking two classes this semester; Business Law and Data Communications.  She has been doing a lot of reading already.  She said she will try to help us blog as much as she can, but gave us no guarantees.

Doesn't she know that these two pugs have got to blog!?

Here I am giving my most pitiful look to guilt mom into helping me and Brutus with the blog.  How can anyone say no to this face!

We will try and keep up on reading blogs - but mom will probably be hogging the computer all the time.

Snow Days

Hey everyone - It has been cold and snowy here in Indiana the past week.  We did hear that it is supposed to get into the upper 30's this week.  Heat Wave!!

We don't like this cold so much, it is so cold on the paws when we go outside.  Brutus always ends up almost falling over because he tries to lift too many paws off the ground trying to keep them warm...BOL!!!!  Mom was lazy and doesn't have any pictures of us in the white stuff.  She did take a couple of pics of our paw prints in the snow just a little bit after the snow started falling last week.

We have been doing alot of napping (ok, we already do alot of napping and you have seen the photos that prove it) and cuddling during this cold snap trying to stay warm :)  At least mom finally figured out that we needed to be covered up!!
