Rudy Gets A New Home....

As we told you all the other day, KPR Foster Pug Rudy was getting a new home with actress/author Mackenzie Philips...

Dad couldn't get out of work, so mom made the decision to leave Brutus & I at home and just take Ellie...

Even though we would have liked to have met a real life celebrity, we were both content to stay and home and have a nice nap without having to hear baby sister cry about having to be in a crate all day.

I'll let Ellie take it from here...

Hewwo Evwyone!!!!!  Tanks big brudder Yoda, I will tells a good story :)

So, mom came home at lunch time and picked me up to take with her to meet this Mackenzie lady that Yoda mentioned....  Mom told me that we were going to meet a famous celebwity....  As long as I am out of my crate and away from my brudders for a bit, I am a happy girl.

So we got to Petco a bit early, but pretty soon there were bunches of people there and alot of pugs too!!

Pretty soon there was some commotion and I saw my buddy Rudy!!  The nice lady holding his leash knew my name!!!  She came right over to me and told me that I was very cute (of course!!).  She also told me that she she knows me from the pictures that mom puts on twitter and that she even has several of those pictures saved on her phone!!  Can you believe it!!  Does that make me a celebwity for a celebwity??

Rudy is my buddy and I am very happy that he is going to a home where he is going to be spoiled like every pug should be!

Mom says this picture says alot about my attitude (or Sallytude as she calls it)...  Does anyone know what she means by that??

KPR is Going Hollywood!!

Ok, Hollywood is actually coming to Kentuckiana Pug Rescue and we are all very excited about it!! 

Actress/Author Mackenzie Phillips is adopting Rudy the Rooftop Pug!!  In celebration, everyone is invited to a meet and greet with her on Friday, April 1st from 1-3.  The location of the event is the Petco in Speedway, IN (6020 Crawfordsville Road - just off of I-465). 

Please come have some cake, join in the celebration and help welcome Mackenzie into the KPR family!!!!!

Happy Birthday Baby Boy!!

Mom here at the keyboard...  Today is my sweet baby boy Brutus's 7th birthday!!

It seems like just yesterday that he was just a wee little thing...

He grew up quickly... 

and really enjoyed his treats...  Believe it or not he once weighed in at 36 lbs.

He is the protector of the house and keeps a good eye on things...

He is a daddy's boy too...

Brutus is such a sweet loving little boy and we love him very much.

We celebrated with some extra treats tonight.

OMD!!  We have been gone for sooooo long!!  We have missed all of our bloggy furiends!  Mom is on spring break this week so she promised to help us do a post. 

Ellie is almost all healed up from her spay and Nares surgery and she is doing just fine.

Not much has been going on around here.  We did get to go to March in the Pugs, a fundraising event for, Kentuckiana Pug Rescue!!

We got to see so many of our furiends - The Pug Posse, Salinger, Lilo, Apollo, Pugsley & Lola, Murphie Jo, Hank and so many more!!  There were soooo many people & pugs there.
