Not too long ago we were contact by a very nice gentleman who works for Mr. Chewy. He requested that we do a fair review of Mr. Chewy. We readily agreed to do a review and we were given a special code that allowed us to order $50 worth of products free from Mr. Chewy.

Mr. Chewy offers a wide selection of brands - they currently have 70+ brands. There is also free shipping on all orders over $49.

We checked out Mr. Chewy - they have sooooo much to choose from. Not only do they have dog and cat food they also have a tremendous selection of treats!! They even have kitty litter and flea preventives too.

Mom & Dad had recently bought food for both us and the kitties so we went right to checking out the treat selection. Mom thought it would be nice to order treats for the kitties too...

So, we placed our order and waited for delivery... Would you believe that we got our order in just 2 days!!

Einstein claimed the box from Mr. Chewy as her own...

...and then Max had to check it out (note Einstein looking a bit peeved that the box hasn't been opened yet)

No fair - the kitties get to check things out but us doggies are stuck here out of reach!

Mom FINALLY opened the box - look at all the good stuff we got! Wait a second, why is there more stuff in there for the kitties than for us pugs!!

We got some freeze dried chicken, some Zukes training treats and Zukes Z-Bones. The kitties got some great new treats that Mom had never seen before - some freeze dried beef liver, grain free salmon, hairball treats and some greenies for the kittes. The kitties LOVE the wild cravings and since she has never seen these in the store, she will be ordering from Mr. Chewy again!

A Pleasant Surprise

Hello Furiends! This is Yoda and I have to tell you all about the wonderful early birthday gift I received from my sweetheart Gracie Lynn Slimmer. She is just the sweetest and I was totally surprised.

This was a super early birthday surprise! It's even New England Patriots colors so I can wear it while I root on my team on Sunday!!

OMP! Mom actually followed through on a promise to us and we got to go visit our Aunty Sarah and our buddy Hank this weekend! We also got to meet Hank's foster sister Cutie and boy is she a cutie!! We have to apologize in advance for the photo heavy post.

It has been really cold outside the past couple of days, so Brutus, Ellie & I have been doing our best to stay inside and stay warm as much as possible. We also started our own twitter account this week - look for us @PugsStrikeBack.

Today I sat on Mom's lap and watched the Red Wings beat the Blackhawks.

Then I took a snooze and had some sweet dreams about my sweetheart Gracie Lynn.

Slacker...

Yoda here, and Brutus, Ellie & I have to say that mom has been a slacker lately. She had a whole month off from school and did she help us keep the blog up to date? No! She has all of these excuses, but we don't accept any of them. Of course, now she is back in school and unless we magically grow thumbs the blog will have dust on it by the next time we are able to update it.

"Seriously mom, what's up?!"

She is doing this whole Pugs In the Kitchen thing too which is taking up even more of her time. Although there are advantages involved in that, mainly tasty noms!

"Come play with me!"

Not only has she been slacking on helping us update the blog, we didn't even get to go to pug meetup this month!

"Do we get to go see all of our furiends?!"

She got the Fido Rido out, which got us all excited about going to meetup but then it didn't happen :(

Brutus and Ellie tried their best to make mom & dad feel guilty about not taking us to meetup.

Unfortunately, the guilt trip didn't work. Ellie decided the best thing she could do was just curl up next to mom. (Don't let this picture deceive you - Ellie really is a little crack dog! She drives me nuts!!!!)

I on the other hand have been protesting and am refusing to sit next to mom and cuddle until she takes us out on an adventure. This is how I spend most of my days now - sacked out on my bed across the room from where mom sits.

I think my protest may be working, because I heard her talking to dad about taking us to visit one of our furiends! Paws crossed!!!

Mom loaded just me into the car on Friday morning and off we went to the Pug Posse house. The boys had to stay at home and take care of dad who was feeling under the weather.

I was so excited to meet Tallulah, Petunia & Isabelle!! It was kind of hard to tell the difference between Tallulah & Petunia - they look sooooo much alike!!

Kitty Birthday...

Us puggies would like to wish our kitty brothers, Max & Miko, a very happy birthday today!!

They are true brothers coming from the same litter. They are turning 11 today...

When mom & dad first moved to Indy, mom didn't have a job and was stuck all day alone. Dad thought it would be a good idea to get a companion for her and took her to the pet store (just to look... this was well before mom & dad discovered what puppies and kitties in pet stores go through).

Well they looked around and didn't see any kitties until they got to the front of the store. There were two black kitties on display at the front of the store. Mom said she had a hard time trying to pick which one to take and she was sad that one would be left behind (but didn't say anything). Dad being the good guy that he is picked the second kitty up too. He said that he couldn't bear to leave one behind all by his lonesome.

Thus Max & Miko found their furever home. Happy Birthday Max & Miko - you two are the best kitty brothers a pug could ask for!!

I Did It!!

Ellie here pawing at the keyboard. Yoda & Brutus are sleeping so I thought I would let you know all about my final training class. This was the advanced training class at PetSmart (I love my instructor Craig, he is the best!!)

Anyway, I finally graduated!! It has been a long process (18 weeks in total of training from beginner to intermediate and then finally advanced). I still have some things I need to work on before I can take the CGC test, but I am well on my way. I still have some issues with people - hey, if you don't have a treat I don't want anything to do with you and I will bark like a crazy girl at you.

Here I am doing my sit/stay. Mom was too busy to get any other pictures during the graduation test.

What's that you got there Dad? A diploma for me!! Yay!!! It was alot of hard work, but the treats made it well worth it. Mom says that I have to keep up with my training so that I can be a CGC.

Here is my diploma and class picture - the other two dogs that graduated with me are Buddy & Mandy.

A Special Day...

Hi everyone!! Yoda pawing at the keyboard today. How I have managed to keep Ellie from the blog is beyond me. I have a feeling she is planning payback for that picture we posted of her doing her bizness... oh well, it was worth it :)

I totally spaced out in the last post about what caused my face to puff up. The vet thinks it was a reaction to the Leptospirosis vaccination.

Anywho, the reason for this post is to wish our kitty sister, Einstein, a very happy birthday!! Einstein is 10 years old and she has been a part of the family since she was just a wee little one.

Einstein is a cool kitty and doesn't mind us pugs - she will even curl up next to me every now and again. We even have proof - see the first picture below :)

Not the ideal way to get attention...

The day started out like normal yesterday but then Mom and Dad loaded all three of us into the car and we headed out... we love car rides but this one ended at the vet's office which we weren't too thrilled about.

This was a new vet's office but we were pleasantly surprised to see our regular vet there!! We love Dr. Ritz!! She always takes such good care of us :)

Well apparently Brutus and Ellie were just along for the ride as this visit was all about me - this was my yearly checkup. I also had an incident with a tick earlier in the week and Dr. Ritz had to dig out the part that mom couldn't get with the tweezers. I would post pictures, but it looks pretty nasty.

Waiting for the vet...

My left ear has been bothering me and Brutus has been having problems hearing so she swabbed our ears and it came back that we both have a yeast problem in our ears... Brutus is Mich worse than mine and his ear canal in both ears was blocked. We got ear drops to take care of that nasty yeast!

It was such a beautiful day yesterday and we enjoyed being out for a bit. Well, we got home and my face started feeling funny. I tried rubbing it with my paws and also against pretty much anything that I could fine. Mom noticed me rubbing my face and had me come over to her. She looked concerned and I heard her say that my face looked puffy. A call to the vet's office and we were on our way back - but just with me this time.

We got to the vet's office and they met mom & I at the door and took me right back. I had to get a steroid shot to help take the puffiness down. Then we got to wait in the lobby for a while to make sure the puffiness was going down.

I was so ready to go home and just sleep for a while. Mom & Dad stopped at Burger King for lunch on the way home and Mom fed me french fries - I NEVER get french fries!! So I guess there was a bright side to the situation.

We finally got home and Dad got out a nice fuzzy blanket for me to sleep on - he's a good Dad :)

I am feeling much better today, thank goodness!!

Pawty Time!!

I would like to say thanks again for all the birthday wishes!! I am blessed to have so many furiends.

Mama loaded me up in the car on Saturday morning and we headed over to the Pug Posse house to help get ready for my birthday bash. The Pug Posse was kind enough to host my pawty since we don't have a fenced in yard at our house.

It wasn't too long before the pawty was in full swing!

My teacher stopped by too and brought his puppy, Banshee - she is just 6 months old... We had fund chasing each other around in the backyard.

And Pugnacious P herself, Payton came to my birthday bash too!! Here her dad is giving out blueberries - they were delicious. Her Mom, Gammy & Gampy were there too! They were all soooo nice.

Who are the Chefs?

We hope everyone has had a nice weekend. Mom and Dad left us all alone to go to a stupid football game that we couldn't go to... their excuse was that Dad got the tickets for free from work - whatever.

Anyway, they said that the Indianapolis Colts would be playing the Kansas City Chiefs, but they both kept calling them the Chefs and laughing... this video explains their laughter -

An Important Announcement :)

Hey everyone! Ellie here at the keyboard to tell you all about how I graduated from the Intermediate Training Class! I tell you, I was very nervous before the final test. I didn't want to disappoint my pawrents.

My classmates and I were tested on several things - heel, stay, come when called, wait and a couple of others. All of these with the three D's - distance, distraction and duration.

Here I am just before class began - I was practicing my sit/stay...

Party Time!

We got to go see our furiends at the Pug Posse house on Saturday night! Their dad was celebrating his birthday and invited us and our pawrents to help him celebrate :)

I was enjoying the ride and just looking out the window.

Brutus and I were trying to figure out how to get to the front seat and onto mom's lap.

Brutus managed to get on dad's lap a couple of times during the night.

Ellie crashed... she doesn't look too happy in this picture, does she!!

Some of the Pug Posse was passed out underneath the table.

Mom didn't get any pictures of me while we were there. After making my rounds and greeting everyone, I found a nice spot on the couch and just kicked backed and relaxed.

Later in the evening, we all went outside and marshmallows were roasted over the fire. Too bad it started to rain not too long after this photo was taken.

Before we knew it, it was time to go home. Time flies when you are having fun with friends!!

We would first like to thank everyone for voting for Ellie's picture. We will find out next week if it won or not! Anyway, Mom is going to take over our blog for today.

Mom here. Has it been 10 years already? It doesn't seem like that long ago that those planes hit the towers, the Pentagon and a field in Pennsylvania. I can barely remember what I did last Tuesday, but I can tell you exactly where I was and what I was doing on that 11th day of September in 2001.

I was at work, just barely into the work day, when I got a call from M (Yoda, Brutus & Ellie's dad). It was just before 9am. He told me to turn on the radio or find a tv to watch. He said that the news was reporting that a plane had hit one of the towers of the WTC in NY. I quickly found a tv and we put it in a cube that wasn't being used and started watching the coverage. I kept thinking of what a horrible accident this was - surely the pilot of the plane had lost control or had some sort of mechanical failure. Those thoughts were quickly dashed, as we stood crowded around this little tv - we all saw it. A second plane hit the other tower of the WTC. It became clear that this was no accident - terror had hit home in the United States of America and things would never be the same. My co-workers and I tried to get back to work in hopes of taking our minds off of this travesty. Every now and then one of us would go over and watch more coverage. I remember the anguish in the voice of a fellow employee as I heard her say that the first tower had fallen. So many lives lost... We were all again huddled around the tv - hoping against hope that the second tower would stand it's ground long enough for those inside to get out - praying to God to let it stand long enough for everyone to get out. The devil had other plans and the second tower fell. We then started hearing stories of a plane hitting the Pentagon and then later on we would hear of a plane going down in Pennsylvania. Only later would we hear of the brave souls on Flight 93 and the famous words "lets roll" as the passengers led a charge to regain control of the plane.

I only worked a half day that day. M & I were building a house and had our pre-drywall inspection that day. The house was being built near the airport. Whenever we would go out to see the house, we could always see planes taking off and landing. The weather was beautiful that day - the sky was a perfect blue and not a cloud in sight. It was so strange driving out to the house and not seeing a plane in the sky. Not even the usual jet trails were to be seen high up in the sky. All planes had been grounded.

The nation mourned for those that were lost and we came together in those days and months following this horrific event. I have looked at a lot of pictures and read a lot of stories about that day this past week leading up to this day and I remembered and mourned again for those that were lost - both lost on that day and the soldiers lost in this war on terrorism. Calendar Contest...

Even though she can be kind of a pest sometime, we would hate to see the look on her face if this photo doesn't make it into the calendar. It is $1.00 per vote (KPR requests a 3 vote minimum). Monsters in the Garage

We really need to talk to our secretary(mom) about getting our posts out there a little bit more often. She has been such a slacker lately!

So, mom & dad have been worrying about this water that was coming up at the end of the driveway so they called the city water department. The city stated that the leak was on our property so it was our responsibility not theirs. Soooo, mom & dad called their insurance company, who sent out a plumber to investigate.

The plumbers decided to dig up the are where the water was coming up and much to their surprise - no pipes were leaking in that area!

Here they are filling the hole back in.

The hole all filled back in....

Further investigation revealed that a pipe in the garage was the cause of the water leak - go figure.

So, the plumbers come back and they brought monsters to eat through the concrete slab. You can hear the monsters in the following video... We heard them most of the morning!

This is what the garage floor looked like when the monsters were done with it.

This is the pipe that caused this whole mess.

That hole was at least 3 1/2 inches below the top of the slab. The plumbers told mom that when the house was built and the slab was poured, the builders tied a piece of rebar to this pipe and the vibrations of the water turning on and off caused it to rub against the pipe and put a hole in the pipe.

All repairs completed!

We haven't been able to visit our bloggy friends for a while - again slackery on our secretary's part. We will try to be around very soon!

Kentuckiana Pug Rescue - The 500 Festival of Pugs

Hi everyone!! Ellie here to tell you all about the fun day I had at the 500 Festival of Pugs - this is a fundraising event for Kentuckiana Pug Rescue, which is where I came from! Unfortunately, dad had to work so mama decided to take just me to the event. Don't worry about Yoda & Brutus missing out because they thought it was grand that they had a day without me at home!!

Just a warning that this post is going to be heavy on the pictures.

The first thing we did was scope out the raffle baskets.

There were some really nice raffle baskets - we did win one, but mom failed to get a picture of it.

There were lots of vendors there too...

Pugs in the Kitchen was there with their yummy treats (ok, mom is part of Pugs in the Kitchen, so I am a little biased...) 100% of the proceeds from sales went directly to KPR!!

There were all kinds of contests too! Banana eating, curliest tail, costume contests, pug races, etc.... Mom only entered me in the pug race and I successfuly defended my title of Pug Race Champion for the under 1 category!!

There were some non-pug guests that showed up too :)

Oh ok, we can stop and watch the agility demonstration. This reminded us of our furiend Brutus & Carmen.

A Graduation!!

Ellie here pawing at the keyboard... I haven't yet had a chance to tell you all about my graduation from the beginner education course I took at PetSmart.

Of course I graduated... I am a smart puppy - just like my furiend Archie!!

My instructor took us out into the store to test us on everything that me and my pawrents had learned. Needless to say, I passed with flying colors. The instructor said that my pawrents need to continue working on things with me to help me get them down pat so that I can start the intermediate course at the end of August!!

I can't wait to start my next class!! The instructor, Craig, is a super cool guy and I can't wait to see him again (he always has yummy treats for me).

Today, we have to tell you all about the pug party we went to yesterday!! Our friend Kiki, her momma Punchy and her momma's friend L came for a visit!! L adopted Vinny from KPR!! YAY for another puggy with a furever home!!

Many of you may already know the sad news.... Our good friend Lilo went to the bridge yesterday evening.

We are devastated and heartbroken over her passing. We know she can now breathe easy and run free on the bridge, but we will miss her dearly.

Her momma needs the support of all of us in bloggy land right now - please feel free to go over and leave some comforting words on her blog.

We want to wish our Grandpawrents (mom's mom & dad) a Happy 50th Anniversary!!

We have to say goodbye to another one of our kitty uncles... :( You will recall that about a month ago, our kitty uncle Buddie went to the rainbow bridge.

This is Spot... he was rescued from a flea market parking lot during an ice storm when he was, at best guess, less than a year old. He went to the bridge today at 17 years old. We are glad that grandma & grandpa could give him such a good life - much better than the one he would have had out on the streets.

I am sure that Buddie was waiting for Spot on the Rainbow Bridge and they are enjoying each other's company as I write this.

So, last night I got to go with Mom and Dad to the park since Dad had a softball game. I was looking forward to getting out of the house and leaving the stinky boys at home!!

While on our way, I heard mom tell dad to stop at Starbucks. I wasn't sure what this place was and was a bit curious. We went through the drive-thru and I didn't really pay much attention to what was going on since there were so many things to look at outside.

We pulled away from the drive-thru and mom asked me if I wanted my pup cup.... um, my what? I had never heard of such a thing. Let's just say that a pup cup is pure heaven!!!!! I know I am only 8 months old, but how have I never had one of these before???

Obedience Class - round 2

Ellie here at the keyboard. I have to tell you all about the round 2 of obedience class.

The last two weeks have been pawsome - I have figured out that if I do what mom and/or dad want me to, I get treats - lots and lots of treats!! Not to say that I don't still express my true self to them - but, um... treats are delicious!!

Last night was our second class for obedience training. Since the first class I have learned how to sit and how to look at mom or dad when they say "watch me" (this is usually followed by a treat).

This week the instructor tried to teach me how to lay down.... hahahaha - not a chance! My butt kept sliding on the slick floor and I was afraid I was going to fall down. Something tells me that there will be plenty of treats in the near future to get me to lay down. The second part of class was loose leash walking - I didn't do too bad, but every time I pulled on the leash we would stop walking! Only once I looked back at Mom, who was holding the leash, did we move forward again.

The thing that Mom said she is most proud of me for last night is that I barely barked at all!! She gave me extra treats for being so good.... A pug could get used to this :)

Learning new things is tiring...

OMP!! We almost missed that our Blogoversary was today!!!

We can't believe we have been doing this for two whole years already. It seems like just yesterday that mom started this blog for us just to have a little bit of fun. We never thought we would make so many furiends through the blogs! We have met several of you in the fur and everyone is always so nice :)

Several of those furiends we had a chance to meet at pug meetup that was this morning - we will do a post on that later.

A Taste of Her Own Medicine....

Hi everyone! Yoda here (that darn little Ellie has been trying to take over my duties as blog master)...

Anyway, yesterday afternoon Mom and Dad both came home early from work - yay!!!!! After a little while they started to get their cameras and also Ellie's collar and harness, so we knew something was up.

Come to find out, they took Ellie to see her Auntie Annie (she is the one who hand raised and fed Ellie and her pup brother and sister since their pug momma couldn't). Without Annie's dedication, Ellie wouldn't be here today!!

Mom and Dad showed Brutus and I a video and thought we might enjoy it. It seems that Auntie Annie has another set of pups that she is helping raise (they have their pug momma). These pups as far as we can tell are part pug and part shitzu - a pugzu!! Hmmm pugzu... pug zoo - fits perfect.

Anyway here is the video of Ellie getting a taste of her own medicine by being harassed by the puppies :) Enjoy!

Ellie here at the keyboard again to tell you all how my first "obedience" class went.

Thanks to everyone for all the support! I particularly liked the advice I got from Pearl and also from Tiffy ;) I am a free spirit and shouldn't be shackled down with mundane things like listening to what mom and dad are saying!

So anyway, Dad took me to class and mom met us there. There were huge thunderstorms moving through the area at the time, so mom & dad blamed my erratic behaviour on the storms...

I am a very vocal pug and like to let all the other humans and doggies know that I have arrived. To make sure I was not forgotten by anyone, I made sure I barked throughout the entire time we were there. The instructor started talking to the class about nuisance barking and he kept pointing at me. I am NOT a nuisance, who does this guy think he is anyway!!

This is the only picture that mom was able to snag during class...

To show my disdain at being taken to this class, I pooped just a little bit everytime I barked. Oh, and I was sitting/standing on mom when I did all of this. She was not happy with me when she saw what I was doing and put me down so she could clean off her shirt (yeah, good luck with that!! BOL!!!!). I then managed to smear some poop on her jeans as well. Even after all of this they told me that we would be going to class again next week!

Mom and dad were listening intently to the instructor and were ignoring my barking. However, whenever I quit barking for a bit, mom and dad would love on me and I would get treats for being a good girl. Those treats are yummy and I am now torn between keeping my spirit free or being a good girl and listening to mom & dad and getting treats. What's a little pug girl to do???

Hi everyone!! Ellie here at the keyboard. First off, mom would like to thank everyone for their kind words about Buddie.

Second, I want to thank Wilma for letting me become a Sunflower Sister!! I am so excited and can't wait for the next Sunflower event :)

So, anyway... I need some help. Mom & Dad came home on Friday evening and told me that they signed me up for Obedience classes. Anyone know what this Obedience class thing is?? Yoda & Brutus told me that they never went to such a thing and couldn't tell me anything about it. I heard them whispering and laughing right after I asked them about it, so I know they know what it is but won't tell me.

Because of this class I had to go to the vet on Saturday and get another shot. This just doesn't seem right does it?? While at the vet's office waiting, we met this sweet little pug girl. Mom didn't get her name.

Ok, so I got a bit impatient with Dad....

**Mom's note - Ellie was barking like a mad woman at the vet's office. The only time she was quiet is when she was offered a treat.

Mom did tell me that we get to go to the pet store and that I will get lots of treats, so this obedience thing sounds like it might be a fun thing... but why would Yoda & Brutus think it is funny??

Mom and I were out in the backyard on Saturday and got to see one of Yoda's mortal enemies up close. You can't see me in the picture, but I am just below the tree trying to figure out how to help Yoda out by capturing this guy for questioning... He ran away before I had fully formulated a plan - lucky for him!

No words can really tell how mom is feeling this week. A kitty that she grew up with has gone to the rainbow bridge. This here is Buddie. She was 22 years old and lived a long and happy life.

She developed kidney disease late last year and took a turn for the worse this week. Grandma & Grandpa made the hard decision to let her go but knew that it was the right thing to do for Buddie. She will be buried next her sisters who had passed before her out in the flower garden and a flower planted above her in rememberance.

Mom says that Buddie got her name as a wee kitten because she would always start purring when anyone would get close to her. Whenever mom & dad went for a visit, Buddie would be the first kitty to come say hello. Mom got to see Buddie one last time a few weeks ago and had a feeling she wouldn't see Buddie again so she made sure to tell her how much she was loved.

She was a very special kitty and will not be forgotten anytime soon...

So we missed on blogging about a few things since mom is such a slacker.

We won a contest that was held by our furiend Winston and his kitty sisters, Kizzy & Tika... Sorry it took us so long to post about this Winston - we blame it all on our mom!!

In other happenings, our furiend Eli stayed for a few days while his pawrents were out of town. Poor guy didn't know he was going to have to put up with our wild sister Ellie. She harassed him all day on Saturday and then finally on Sunday she relaxed a bit and they started playing together. Mom was slacking again and didn't get their great games of chase on video.

Rudy Gets A New Home....

As we told you all the other day, KPR Foster Pug Rudy was getting a new home with actress/author Mackenzie Philips...

Dad couldn't get out of work, so mom made the decision to leave Brutus & I at home and just take Ellie...

Even though we would have liked to have met a real life celebrity, we were both content to stay and home and have a nice nap without having to hear baby sister cry about having to be in a crate all day.

I'll let Ellie take it from here...

Hewwo Evwyone!!!!! Tanks big brudder Yoda, I will tells a good story :)

So, mom came home at lunch time and picked me up to take with her to meet this Mackenzie lady that Yoda mentioned.... Mom told me that we were going to meet a famous celebwity.... As long as I am out of my crate and away from my brudders for a bit, I am a happy girl.

So we got to Petco a bit early, but pretty soon there were bunches of people there and alot of pugs too!!

Pretty soon there was some commotion and I saw my buddy Rudy!! The nice lady holding his leash knew my name!!! She came right over to me and told me that I was very cute (of course!!). She also told me that she she knows me from the pictures that mom puts on twitter and that she even has several of those pictures saved on her phone!! Can you believe it!! Does that make me a celebwity for a celebwity??

Rudy is my buddy and I am very happy that he is going to a home where he is going to be spoiled like every pug should be!

KPR is Going Hollywood!!

Ok, Hollywood is actually coming to Kentuckiana Pug Rescue and we are all very excited about it!!

Actress/Author Mackenzie Phillips is adopting Rudy the Rooftop Pug!! In celebration, everyone is invited to a meet and greet with her on Friday, April 1st from 1-3. The location of the event is the Petco in Speedway, IN (6020 Crawfordsville Road - just off of I-465).

Please come have some cake, join in the celebration and help welcome Mackenzie into the KPR family!!!!!

He grew up quickly...

and really enjoyed his treats... Believe it or not he once weighed in at 36 lbs.

He is the protector of the house and keeps a good eye on things...

He is a daddy's boy too...

Brutus is such a sweet loving little boy and we love him very much.

We celebrated with some extra treats tonight.

OMD!! We have been gone for sooooo long!! We have missed all of our bloggy furiends! Mom is on spring break this week so she promised to help us do a post.

Ellie is almost all healed up from her spay and Nares surgery and she is doing just fine.

Not much has been going on around here. We did get to go to March in the Pugs, a fundraising event for, Kentuckiana Pug Rescue!!

We got to see so many of our furiends - The Pug Posse, Salinger, Lilo, Apollo, Pugsley & Lola, Murphie Jo, Hank and so many more!! There were soooo many people & pugs there.

Getting Picked On...

Hewo evwybuddy - Ellie here at the puter again. Does anyone else have brudders that make fun of dem??

Yoda & Brutus keep laughing at me when I came home from da vet yesterday looking like this...

Yoda & Brutus called it da cone of shame.... whatevers... I had to wear it yesterday after going to da vet...

Mom told me that I had surgery so I wouldn't be able to have puppies since there are soooo many puppies and doggies already in the world. She also told me that they were going to shoot a laser in my nose so that I can breathe easier. I don't know what dey did, but my nose is tender and I have been having to sneeze alot.

(**mom's note - she had a Nares surgery where they hit the tissue inside each nostril with a laser to shrink back the tissue. She had tiny little nostrils and had a hard time breathing).

Anyways, mom must have felt bad for me because it wasn't too long before da cone of shame came off.... tank goodness!!! She put my little pink cupcake shirt on so that I couldn't reach and lick at the incision on my belly. Mom said that I am not supposed to run, jump, climb for 14 days - she wants to know if anyone out there has any ideas to keep me from doing all dose tings....

I was so tired... I did this most of the day...

Sweater Day - The Green Stubby Way

Herro evwyone!! Ellie here at da keyboard to tell all about how we are pawticipating in Sweater Day, The Green Stubby Way!!

Yoda & Brutus don't know I am posting.... shhhhh, don't tell dem ;)

Our fwiend Winston told us all about it and since we are also celebrating the Life of Stubby, there is no way we couldn't pawticipate. I was not lucky enuf to meet Stubby, but Yoda & Brutus tell me he was one cool pug and he did all sorts of stuff to raise awareness about what we can do to help the environment.

Come on Brutus, get your sweater on!!

I have the magic touch, I gots dad to put a sweater on too.

By turning the thermostat down by 3 degrees and putting on a sweater, we is honoring and celebwating the Life of Stubby, we is helping our planet stay cool and be greener and we is showing evwyone that we support a healthy planet.
